This is like one of those puzzle things where you put together the 2D wooden pieces to make a 3D t-rex, but this has been scaled up 5X to make a Big’O T-Rex!!!!
Tools:
Old Cooking Pot, Pyrex Bowl, Gloves and Stove.

This week on FabBlab we show our support and make an Awareness Ribbon! This one is specifically for Breast Cancer, but it can be for a bunch of things. We take it one step further and with this awesome tutorial by Josh Reuss, we dyed one of the holsters to show how you can change the color of your 3D printed models!
This is just in time for the 3 Day for the Cure, which is a nation wide event starting in July. Basically its supposed to be the biggest Breast Cancer Cure event ever. People raise money, and women walk together for 60 miles. 20 miles each day.
We’ll also show you the completed FabBlab back lit sign we were working on for the last show.
Tools:
Screw Driver, Electrical Tape and Scissors.

This week on FabBlab we bring together all that Personal Factory has to offer (except CNC) to make a super awesome Back-Lit Sign. This sign uses laser cut acrylic, 3D printed diffusers and SparkFun electronics!
Project:Felt DOMOs. Materials:Mocha, Black, Fire and White Felt. Tools: Hot-Glue Gun and Scissors.
This week on FabBlab we show off the awesome laser cutting side of Personal Factory and make some felt Domo-Kuns! You can punch a hole in it and put it on a key chain or even hot-glue a magnet inside and make fridge thingies. It is just fun to make and it’s Domo-kun, so you know you like it!
This week on FabBlab, Jacob and Nick show off the 3D printing side of Personal Factory again with a holster for a Flip Ultra HD camera made from white durable plastic.
Have you ever hated carrying a Flip camera around in your pocket or tossing it to the side because there was just no place to put it? Well fear not! The guys at FabBlab have made a holster to keep that Flip just where you want it.
It has a belt clip on the back to clip it on your pocket or whatever. It also protects the buttons so you don’t accidentally turn it on while carrying it. Sadly, since Jacob has designed this holster, Cisco is now discontinuing the Flip Camera… But for all of us that bought one, this is a great accessory.
We take it one step further and with this awesome tutorial by Josh Reuss, we dyed one of the holsters to show how you can change the color of your 3D printed models!
Hey guys, we are pleased to announce a new weekly feature called Fab Blab.
We have partnered with Ponoko to show off what kinds of cool stuff you can make with Personal Factory.
Every Thursday evening, we’ll have a new project to show off. The design files for each project will be available for download in the FabBlab showroom, so you can make whatever we’re making too.
Our first episode of Fab Blab is TONIGHT at 7pm Eastern Time.
You can watch the show LIVE and chat with us online as we show you how to create a 3D printed Sporknife!
Wondering who “we” are? We’re Jacob Roberts and Nick Jones, the guys from PBCastTV. We’ve been doing podcast style shows on the internet for a year and a half, and we’re really excited to start FabBlab. You can read more about each of us after the jump.
