Restoring Beauty’s beak.
Beauty, a bald eagle, was rescued by Jane Fink Cantwell of Birds of Prey Northwest. She was found with the top half of her beak shot of. As a result, she could not feed or clean herself. Nate Calvin of the Kinetic Engineering Group learned about beauty while visiting the rescue center with his daughters. Afterwards, he offered to help design and produce a new, 3D printed beak for Beauty.
