Build your own Arduino-based mini synth at Rich Decibels’ workshops coming up in November
A couple weeks ago I posted about the Nebulophone electronics kit along with a video of me putting it together and talking about why I like making this kid of stuff.
And I know other people like making this stuff too, so I’ve been running DIY workshops at my studio in Wellington for the past few weeks.
I’ve had a great time teaching all sorts of different people elementary electronics concepts, and the students have been having fun too. Check out the excellent LEKRMOI video below of last week’s workshop attended by musicians Benny Tones and Lord Jackson.
The classes tend to be a relaxed social affair, with lots of laughter, culminating in an inevitable cacophony of half a dozen new Nebulophones all being excitedly played together. There’s a review up of the workshop from last week on the NZ Makers site.
The first 6 classes sold out in a couple of days so I’ve added more workshops for November. So get in quick if you’re interested! No experience necessary!
