No, IKEA is not selling 3D printers (yet), but they are using them. 3D printing has been used by large companies to test designs for a few decades, so it’s no surprise that Scandinavian furniture giant IKEA uses the technology as well.

What is a bit more exciting is the fact that National Geographic included a short segment on 3D printing in its IKEA special. The part about 3D printing starts at around 1:00 in the video.
