Here are some poll results from the Thingiverse blog. You can click on the image for a larger version.

They mention that a lot of people only selected artist, but I wonder if that’s because “designer” wasn’t an option.
(Maybe it was, I didn’t see the original survey.)

Perhaps many people see artist and designer as interchangeable, but I think they’re two very different things. But I’ll save that for another post…

    I think you’re right on the artist v designer thing – they are different. Though some of us are both ;) (I keep the designer hat in a cupboard most of the time…)
