Laser Cut Leaf Business Cards August 2
Not Exactly Green..

Brazilian based design firm Tatil Design has come up with a novel twist on the laser engraved business card.

Winning a bronze award at the 2009 International Design Excellence awards, their invitation and flyer for the “Design Naturally” workshop at the 55th Cannes Advertising Festival was designed on laser engraved leaves. Images were recorded on a leaf together with the event information. Designed with low environmental impact and showing great visual and sensory appeal, the leaves must be viewed against the light and can later be returned to nature. Laser engraving allows for the use of images of different complexity levels and myriad of effects without leaving chemical residues.
