It's a neat innovation to use zip ties in unusual places. I'm not so sure it's practical with chairs though. The "new way of sitting" comment made my giggle and wag my head. I think this is taking the concept of creating features out of faults too far. Maybe I'll make a new toilet seat, and to save money and energy I will not cut a hole in it.
