I think services like Zafu (or Hipstery, see Frank Piller&#039;s blog entry : http://mass-customization.blogs.com/mass_customization_open_i/2010/05/mc-alternatives-hipstery-adds-a-new-twist-to-tshirt-personalization-and-additik-pimps-your-ikea-furn.html) are an interesting way to see customization... actually it&#039;s more information processing than product customization. Anyway, need-based customization is somehow different than configuration-based dustomization, especially because there&#039;s no designing experience... Segmenting customization like that seems logical, but it also adds complexity to it!</description>
