Cardboard Office

Paul Coudamy has designed an office for a Parisian advertising agency entirely out of cardboard. The office includes furniture, twenty work stations, storage and meeting rooms. The cardboard is 4cm thick water-resistant honeycomb. The entire project, from conception to production, was completed in one month on a low budget.

The lighting incorporates large, open umbrellas.

I don’t think I’d want to work in a cardboard office, but it’s an interesting idea. Maybe if the cardboard surfaces received some decor or treatment, the concept could be a good solution to temporary work stations or tradeshow booths.
