An important thing to know is not all fairs and not all websites are equal. So you need to check and do your research on what nice the fair fits and what countries the website fits.
But here’s some fairs:Craft2.0: http://www.craft2.org, (this is my fair) our first fair was sponsored by ponoko, and we’ve had ponoko creators at every single fair since then.
felt club: A la based eventhttp://www.feltclub.com/
Bust magazine craftcaulars: http://www.bust.com/craftacular/they normally hold Christmas and spring events which are all day events
Crafty Wonderland: http://www.craftywonderland.com/portland is a hot bed of creativity, you’d think Seattle was where it’s at but no, check out portland
Online: etsy is great for the USA, outside there you need to list on other sites, becuase the world does not start and finish in the usa. Do know that all of these sites are super fine with laser cut creations, just make sure your description explain that it’s your original design and it’s a unique laser cutting process. Because ponoko is unique
in NZ – felt.co.nza really crisp clean well designed site, goring every day and also the place to find uniquely nz creations you won’t see on etsy.
In Australia: http://www.madeit.com.au/
In UK and Europe: don’t think twice and head to http://www.artflock.com, all prices are in USD, Euro and pounds, it’s my pick for the European answer to etsy. they are doing some really innovative things, which include operating as a cms to your own personal website, one update in artflock and your website is updated
I’m not such a big fan of dawanda as their initial terms, were that they owned the rights to your photos
hope that has changed
